Chrism Mass Invitation Bishop Wack cordially invites all the faithful of the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee to attend the Chrism Mass on Tuesday, April 16 at 10:00 a.m. CDT at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. In this annual liturgy rich in symbolism, the Bishop gathers with the priests serving in our diocese to renew their fellowship and their commitment to priestly ministry. Additionally, it is at this Mass each year that the Bishop blesses the oil of the sick and the oil of catechumens and consecrates the holy chrism, all of which will enrich the sacramental life of the diocese in the coming year. Immediately following the Chrism Mass, you are also invited to a luncheon reception in the Ave Maria Hall adjoining the Cathedral.
